Kolkata has often been known as a romantic city, mostly through the architecture that surrounds it's quaint neighbourhoods. Sadly, quite a lot has already changed and the houses demolished due to litigation. My observation led to the documentation of these very houses and their wonderful facades, and also to my dissertation in my masters program. The term 'Elegant erosion' refers to the number of times that the images have been used in a unique manner and interpreted. Each tab represents it's own phase as I completed the edits over 6 years.
