Vasuki's Paradox shows the contemporary retelling of the end of the Treta yuga, when Rama was ready to die. Hanuman’s unwillingness to let Rama go, leads Rama to send him on a search for a ring that has fallen all the way down to Pataalok. There, Hanuman meets Vasuki who explains how Rama sent him here, so he may pass on – and that this was not the first time it had happened. The work is meant to signify the cycle of reality that repeats in a loop, and technology in this age makes that loop quite tiring. We seem too attached to technology, like one is attached in the womb – making the loop almost impossible to break. Just like Hanuman repeated his reality, so do we – in our pursuit for happiness.
